1. Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account, logging in, browsing, joining a guild, creating a quest, submitting a support ticket, or otherwise using Quest Keeper, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Quest Keeper is a fantasy-themed guild and quest management platform. It helps communities organize games, parties, quests, rewards, guild membership, and related activity. These terms apply to all public pages, user dashboards, admin-managed systems, support areas, and any future features connected to Quest Keeper.
Plain-language note: this page is meant to be understandable. It is not a substitute for legal advice from a qualified professional.
2. Accounts and Security
You may need an account to use the core features of Quest Keeper. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- You must not share, sell, transfer, or misuse another person's account.
- You must not impersonate another user, guild leader, administrator, game developer, or Quest Keeper staff member.
- If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support as soon as possible through the Help Center.
Quest Keeper may require password resets, restrict access, or suspend accounts when needed to protect users, guilds, or the service.
4. Guilds, Quests, Rewards, and Game Listings
Quest Keeper lets users create guilds, invite members, post quests, coordinate parties, track progress, and describe rewards. Guild leaders and officers receive elevated tools and are expected to use them responsibly.
- Guild names, banners, descriptions, requirements, and links must follow these terms.
- Quest titles, objectives, locations, requirements, and rewards must be truthful enough for members to understand what they are joining.
- Guild leaders and officers may remove members or manage quests, but they may not use those tools for harassment, fraud, or retaliation that violates these terms.
- Quest Keeper may remove or edit guilds, quests, links, images, or reward descriptions that are abusive, misleading, infringing, unsafe, or unlawful.
Game listings are provided for organization and discovery. Quest Keeper is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by every listed game, developer, publisher, or platform unless we explicitly say so.
5. User Content and Permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as profile details, guild descriptions, quest text, support messages, links, and uploaded images. By submitting content to Quest Keeper, you grant us permission to host, store, display, process, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit the content you post. Do not upload images, names, logos, text, or other materials that violate someone else's rights.
We may preserve or disclose content when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, comply with law, enforce these terms, or protect Quest Keeper and its users.
6. Moderation and Enforcement
Quest Keeper may moderate content and accounts to protect the service and community. Depending on the situation, we may warn users, remove content, close tickets, restrict features, suspend accounts, ban accounts, archive games, disband guilds, or take other reasonable action.
We do not promise to monitor everything. Users can report issues through the Help Center. We review reports based on available context and the risk to the community.
7. Service Availability and Changes
Quest Keeper is provided as a live web service. Features may change, improve, break, be removed, or enter maintenance. We may add new game support, change guild tools, revise admin systems, or adjust reward and quest workflows.
- We may use maintenance mode to protect the site during updates.
- We may limit or disable features that create security, stability, or abuse concerns.
- We are not responsible for outages caused by hosting providers, networks, browsers, devices, third-party services, or events outside our control.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Quest Keeper is provided "as is" and "as available." We try to build a reliable service, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, perfectly secure, or suitable for every purpose.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Quest Keeper and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost guild progress, lost profits, or disputes between users.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Updates to These Terms
We may update these terms as Quest Keeper grows. If changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the site, support area, announcements, or other appropriate channels. Continued use of Quest Keeper after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
